Artifacts and Decorative Arts
Our objects conservators are museum-trained to provide quality professional treatment of fine objects, historic decorative arts, and ethnographic and archeological artifacts. Guided by principles of reversibility, re-treatability, and minimal intervention, we conserve objects as wide ranging as Egyptian mummies, Art Nouveau ceramics, lacquer panels, and historic farm equipment. All of our work is scrupulously documented and conforms to the Code of Ethics and Standards for Practice of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works.
